“Susan led us through a process where she identified, interviewed and recommended general contractors, AV companies, landscape designers and more. With her help, the people and companies we hired were all excellent. We curated a team of people committed to fresh ideas and thinking outside the local norms. The scope of the project involved gutting a 3,300 sq. ft home as we re-imagined the interior to significantly expand the kitchen/bar area as well as add a powder room. We converted a typical backyard into an outdoor entertainment space which now includes an outdoor shower, new pool/hot tub, outdoor kitchen with a bar, as well as the outdoor living room. Susan assisted in the design and selection of all the interior and exterior finishes. She then went on completely furnish and decorate the entire home. 

 

She professionally navigated through challenging post COVID supply chain issues, worker shortages and managed to streamline the entire process. We worked with Susan for more than a year and could not be happier with the outcome.

“I bought my home in The Villages, which I planned to use personally and for VRBO.

From that first conversation with Susan Corsten, I knew I had the found the right person who would help me transform the house into a home. My challenge was that I was in California and Susan was the East Coast in the Villages. The entire conceptualization, selecting and installing flooring, countertops, furniture, area carpets, window coverings, bedding, paint colors, etc. were all done entirely over the phone, computer and text messaging.

 

Susan organized all of the demo, identified all of the subcontractors and scheduled their work and selected many different examples of furniture and accessories to discuss and decide on.  She was my “eyes” for the project in determining exactly what I wanted and how it would ultimately look.

 

I flew to the Villages to see the completed project. I arrived past midnight and when I walked into the home it was like walking into a dream, a wonderful dream.
